Ceilidh dance class
Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) comes from the Gaelic word for 'gathering', referring to any occasion, special or otherwise, where people would get together and enjoy a dance or celebration. The idea is to enjoy and celebrate and not be too formal.

Sunday 16 September 2018, 12:45-13:30Location: Lennox 3, EICCWe are offering a Ceilidh class. Come and learn to Strip the Willow and dance the Virginia Reel. You will also be offered the chance to show off your new Ceilidh skills at the Gala Dinner. No partner is required, just bring your enthusiasm to Lennox 3 at the conference venue. The class will be 45 minutes long and you can register for the lesson under 'social events' on the registration form. Make sure you book your place early as there are only a limited number of spaces! Price: £10 |
