Abstract: Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) is Cochrane's largest external partner with whom we have been in official relations since 2011. In 2019, we will start our third three-year collaborative plan with WHO. This session is organized to update participants on what the Central Executive know about what Cochrane contributors are doing in WHO, and discuss strategies and mechanisms to further strengthen the collaboration and engage more Cochrane Groups in this partnership – at national, regional and global levels. Objectives: To update participants on the collected information across Cochrane about key areas of work, progress made; To learn from participants about their work with WHO; To discuss mechanisms and strategies through which Cochrane Groups can further engage with WHO. Description: This session is organized to update participants on what the Central Executive know about what Cochrane contributors are doing in WHO, and discuss strategies and mechanisms to further strengthen the collaboration and engage more Cochrane Groups in this partnership – at national, regional and global levels. After a short keynote input, the session will take an open space format, with participants highlighting the topics they like to discuss, on areas that would help them build or strengthen relationships with WHO departments and offices; challenges or opportunities they see; or innovative suggestions for expanding the relationship and the use of Cochrane evidence in global health.
