As part of the Cochrane Review Group (CRG) Transformation Programme Implementation Plan, Networks are required to prepare a strategic plan stating how they intend to support CRGs in delivering high-quality, timely, reviews on priority topics. This will allow Cochrane and the Central Executive Team (CET) to ensure that the Networks are properly resourced and have the sound leadership. The Network leadership, the Senior Editors, are also expected to initiate plans for long-term sustainability and advice the Editor in Chief. The key areas of the Strategic Plan are: (1) ensuring consistency of review quality; (2) priority setting; (3) increasing the impact of Cochrane Reviews; (4) Network communication plan; (5) working collaboratively; (6) ensuring sustainability. Senior Editors will lead the Network strategic plan, and this meeting will be used to discuss aspects of the plan and how we ensure consistency across all the Networks. The meeting will be held in the Fintry Auditorium on Tuesday 18th September, 11:00-13:50. We will have a full group meeting from 11-12.30, followed by breakout sessions (Pentland & Sidlaw Auditoriums) from 12.30-13.30, and joint discussion from 13.30-13:50.
