Title: How can you deliver Person-centred care and evidence-based medicine together in clinical practice?

Synopsis:  How do you approach the  challenge of delivering evidence-based medicine (EBM) which is based on data shown to benefit a population, and delivering personalised care which is data based on the individual patient’s  preferences and shared decision-making? This talk will touch on how doctors need to integrate a knowledge of EBM with a willingness to challenge its relevance, discuss alternatives and  manage  risk with the patient.  It will explore the  concept of ‘value’ for the patient.
